Bancassurance

Bancassurance is a relationship between a bank and an insurance company that is aimed at offering insurance products or insurance benefits to the Bank’s customers. The insurance products to our customers acts as an add-on service offered by the Bank in addition to the normal Banking services.

West Bengal Gramin Bank has taken lot of new initiatives for the benefit of its valued customers. With an object to offer the customers of the Bank a one stop contact point having an array of various financial products under one roof and fulfilment of their diverse needs, Bank has entered into tie-up with renowned Insurance Companies.

West Bengal Gramin Bank is currently having Tie-Up arrangement with the “PNB MetLife Insurance Company Limited”, “Life Insurance Corporation of India” (LICI) & “Bajaj Life Insurance Limited and HDFC Life Insurance Co Limited ” for selling Life Insurance products.
